Of course, they have more hours in than that airline pilot.

I prefer Pachelbels lesser known work, Canon in L and the 99 cent menu club.

Not go off on a tangent, but...

The accident at SFO hinges on the pilot's time and experience in the 777 as well as probably some Cockpit Resource Management failures.

The pilot in question actually has nearly five digits worth of total flying time but the majority of it was in other types of aircraft.

That can have bad consequences, went to see Asiana yesterday after the (single) boat race.

looks like a dope and fabric wing, it can still tear up pretty easy but nothing that cant be fixed.

Kyle has "skid pads" mounted on both wingtips so I doubt there's any more that needs be done than a few strips of black gaffer tape. ;)

pretty cool, id love to make it out to osh kosh one day, my dads been a few times. Probably the coolest thing i've seen is the Forumla 1 racers, before Redbull started doing it. Im sure its way safer now than what it was 17 years ago.

Sounds like maybe you're confusing Oshkosh with Reno and the National Championship Air Races?

oops, no two different statements,

1.i'd love to go to OshKosh to see the EAA planes like what you posted
2. One of the coolest aviation related things i've seen is the races, the other is SR-71 Fly by and static display at Scott A.F.B.

A few from my second outing with the lens. Sadly I didn't realize IS was turned off until I was leaving. The switch seems to get knocked out of place quite easily when I handle the lens.
