I was bored today so I decided to go down to a local camera rental shop and ask if I could "test drive" the Canon EF 500mm f/4L I.S. lens for a few minutes. The rental agent kindly agreed as long as I shot from the doorway. (Hey beggars can't be choosers) There wasn't much in the way of subject matter so I made the most of it. I thought the carvings on this pillar were rather interesting so I took a few shots. All images taken with the Canon 1D Mk III handheld.
