Anyone tried this lens with 7D2, with 1.4x and with 2x on both 7D2? Can you post pictures please and what are your thoughts on these combos.

Thanks, I can't decide if I should go with 1d4 or 7d2

Thanks Peter

I'm back down there Thursday to pick up wife and son! I'm hoping that Friday morning will offer the same conditions, but I want to try a tighter crop with a 1.4x. 700mm, that will be my narrowest landscape shot to date!

Cool. I would love to see that combo too.

It's the houses that I want to get rid of, hoping that a tight crop still gives a good image!

I see what you mean. But I like this one too. Looks like some kind of a movie poster.

Back to standard operating procedure today, another bird!

Juvenile Marsh Harrier. I watched the parents building the nest back in Spring, so it's quite a nice feeling to see their offspring flying about!

Very nice Andrew!

Snowy Owls are very very very very very rare in the UK, so I doubt I'll ever get the chance to get a shot.

Damn Andrew, knocked it out of the park again!
That really ranks amongst the best bird images I have seen.

@Nelly

I was browsing the show your bag thread when I came across with your post, The reason I am looking was I am hoping to see some pictures with 500mm in it and to my surprised I saw this....

https://photography-on-the.net …read.php?t=36952&page=416

And got more surprised that me too have this bag and I just assumed that it won't fit so I never bother to try it :) now I am all excited to go home and check it out. Very cool Nelly :).
