Aug 25, 2015 13:22 | #3582 Picked up my first L lens from KEH a few weeks ago. Really liking it so far. Haven't had a lot of time to use it yet. 70D at 700mm 1.4x Kenko, f/6.3, ISO 640, 1/2500 on monopod 70D at 700mm 1.4x Canon II, f/7.1, ISO 640, 1/2500 on tripod I think the Canon 1.4x is a bit sharper than the Kenko. Talk about starting BIG! ![]() My first was a bargain 17-40mm ![]() Yes, I had the funds and I really debated whether I should or not. I mean I could have purchased a used 70-200 f/2.8 and a new body and some accessories, but I love photographing birds and other wildlife and I have drooled over this lens for quite a while. Probably not the most responsible thing I've ever purchased, but it sure is fun. Dan
