Not exotic as most of the birds on here, but here's a Wren which thankfully turned up after 4 hours of no Kingfishers!

Has anybody sent theirs in for repair recently ? I just got mine back today.
I paid $269 for the standard labor charge, and $371 for parts to replace a "worn af assembly"

Why did you send it in? Was it because the AF was not functioning properly? I have had lenses that worked just fine, as far as AF was concerned, yet, when I sent them in to Canon for check & cleans, they replaced the AF assembly.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

Such a beautiful piece of equipment, I always knew I wanted one but never realized how much I needed one.

Me too Peter2516, insuring the lens and other expensive camera equipment is the smart thing to do.
