That is certainly an exhaustive list.

You took a lot of time to put that together.

Would you mind helping me a bit? Can you please tell me how you turn a website address into the name as you did and make it clickable?

Sorry to say, I don't follow instructions that well, so if you could list the steps in 1,2,3 order, I'd truly appreciate it.

mark

Mark, it is really easy.

1. Type the word you want to be a clickable link.
2. Highlight that word.
3. Click the Insert Link Icon (looks like the world with a paperclip).
4. type in the URL address and click OK.

You could also use this

Though I can't say that it is my favorite site, one of the most important that I visit regularly is THIS SITE ON CNN (external link). We must never forget that all gave some, and some gave all.

yeah, yeah, late in the game... but my 5:

1. Here
2. www.spaceweather.com (external link) -- Daily space weather updates, and Dr. Tony Phillips has some great reader contribution photo galleries on the site. He's used a few of my odd atmosphere photos on his front page, in the past. (One actually opened the doors to my work getting published in a book.)
3. www.opendiary.com (external link) -- the oldest journaling/networking community on the internet. It was around before Myspace and Livejournal and being as we have a close-knit community and it's well regulated, we don't draw the troubled publicity that other journaling sites do. Been "blogging" there since 2000... "Witch" is my "diary" name.
4. Soho (external link) -- I'm an astronomer... solar astronomy is a big passion of mine... I keep tabs on solar & magnetosphere data.
5.NOAA (external link) -- I'm a weather freak... :)
honorable mentions:
Hawaiian Volcano Observatory (external link) -- best place to keep up on daily volcano and earthquake data out of Hawaii... volcano/earthquake science is fascinating, to me.
CNN (external link) -- I'm a newsaholic

For those who fall between the Boomers and the Gen-Xers.

Do you remember the time on Happy Days where the Fonz did the ski jump in his leather jacket over a shark? Do you remember thinking "Oh, God, this show officially now sucks."

Well did you know that that is the origin of the phrase "Jump the Shark" meaning a tipping point where a show has "fundamentally and permanently strayed from its original premise." (wikipedia) (external link)

Well, there actually is a website called "Jump The Shark" (external link) where you can reminisce about your favorite show and when it jumped.

And I defy anyone to come up with a show that was on American TV that is not listed.

Fun stuff,

Rad
