It looks like you caught the leaves showing thier color too. I was told something interesting last summer while visiting the San Juans. The guide told us that Aspens spread with their roots and the groves share one large root system. That would explain why we always see them growing in large groves. Thanks for sharing your pictures. I cannot wait to come back out there.
