I like that broader "habitat" type of bird photography....generous framing, habitat colours picked up. Incidentally, I think a few of us in GTA by the lake need to form a band of Lake Ontario Wildlifers (LOW). That would be in response to an apparent increase in aggressiveness by the PIPers (Petrie Island Posse) based in Ottawa......we know who they are, eh ? By contrast, we would not do any backyard photography, no stunt owls and woodpeckers, extensive photoshopping and montage, nor any other trickery Ottawa is notorious for. We shall do honest-to-godness wild bird photography by the lake, using our camera gear as opposed to our PC's. Whaddaya say compadre ?
