Well, I work for the USPS in California.

The volume of overseas mail will start going up now.

The big push is with surface/boat mail.

The bottleneck comes with customs...............

LOL, Alex. I thought it was pretty funny too. It took a flight from Anchorage to Hong Kong, so its in Hong Kong now. About 8hr flight away from Perth, which is the nearest International airport, 2 hrs away from me driving. Might get here tomorrow!!

The one thing that worries me is the the only flight UPS has out of Hong Kong is back to Anchorage!! I guess it will go on another freighter, I hope so anyway!:P

I hang out over at dcresource forum... I just ordered the 70-200 f/2.8 non-is with the 580ex and a batt. grip. it took forever for me to make up my mind on what I really wanted/needed. it should be here tomorrow (thur) all this should make my 20D feel about 5 times the weight.

Hey Mike...............

I think it's friday your time..............I hope you got your lens.

I went to the airport/UPS hub to intercept my package.

I went during my lunch to get my 70-200 IS in my hands.

I didn't even care if I was going to be late from lunch.

I just got an expocap today..........can't wait to see if this thing really works!

Good Luck!

Alex

Alex

It is Thursday afternoon here. It has been sitting in Singapore for about 20hrs now. I am wondering how UPS is going to get it to Perth, they dont have any flights to Perth. Maybe they'll send it on a passenger flight or on anouther cargo carrier.
