Yaeh, that sounds about right. Yep, thats with the TCON and 430EX. I worked it out to be $2439. Its still a lot cheaper than you will find anywhere in Australia.

Yeah that's definitely cheaper there! Will they honour the warranty in Australia though?

Yes, Canon will definitely honour USA warranties on All Speedlites Lenses and some other things. If you buy grey market in Australia they should honour the warranty on the grey market goods too.

Thanks Alex. Would you believe that I would love to move to the States. I hate to say it, but the US is my favourite country to visit!! My sister lives in NY, about 20 min from B&H, it would be a weekly visit to the store for my fix.

My Dad went to NY and all around the states earlier in the year, and he went in to B&H to purchase a Monopod and absolutly hated the place!!LOL. Crazy eh?

For an inexpensive purchase where you already know what you want B&H would be a pain. You have to go to the appropriate section of the store, have them write it up, go to the cashier, pay for the item, go to the pickup section, get your purchase....

On the other hand if you are shopping and want to see all the models and merchandise, get some hands on time, and plan on spending time seeing & playing, then it is like a candyshop.

I didn't have much luck with the UPS online tracking. By the time I logged onto the UPS site to see where my items were I had to go down stairs and sign for my package :)
