with the 20D and 400 f5.6L, ISO 200, f6.3, AV Mode.

Truly captured the landing of this Avocet George and with the series of captions makes it a very interesting series, well done.

I wasn't expecting a head-on landing! The third one is very nice with the outstretched wings.

Great series...of a bird I'm dying to get some shots of. Very good focus and detail. Love the lighting and the water too.

Great series George. Its amazing how the bird could land with almost no splash. Certainly very different from the ducks that I've been watching lately.
