Stunt Woodpecker Recognition.

This is an educational post. Many new people here, some of them have never heard the term. So this is a photo guide to two types of stunt woodpeckwers. You can also see them around birdbaths, suet balls and similar.

Some photographers, who also post here, deploy stunt woodpeckers as models extensivelly.

This post should not be interpreted to imply any sort of a photography value judgement.

What kind of stunt are you trying to puil of now Peter.? Be nice to your stunt woodie and put some peanuts in that peanut feeder Just put them on top of those sunflower seeds and see what goes first.

Hell, them woodies got so much suet they can barely fly.
The sunflower seeds are for other birdies.
