I was out with the macro lens and was attracted to this bush full of red berries. I spotted this dew covered bug posing for me. When I showed the picture to my son he pointed out that you can see my reflection in the larger dew drops. Anyone have an ID on this guy?

Excellent quality picture for 1/6 second. And an interesting bug. Looks like some sort of shield bug.

Thanks for all the kind comments. I know that I liked the shot but you know how good it feels when someone else enjoys your work!! :) I will look up a shield bug. I have not heard that name before. Thanks for the hints to what it might be.

Canonloader, This was shot with the help of my tripod. Most of my macro work is done with the camera mounted.

I am still trying to work out how to get a tripod mounted camera close enough to a subject, fast enough to take a picture of it.

They are also called stink bugs. Great shot :D
