Couple of shots of a Silvereye from lunch break walk two days ago. Very small birds so obviously some cropping done.

Nice shots Trace!!! Gotta love these little fellas. Saw a couple in my backyard yesterday so will give it a try too.

Wow, very interesting, wonder if there is an adaptive signifecance to that unusual eye ring? Nice shots.

This is a very cute bird Trace, I just love that large white ring to the eye, nice ones, well done.

Thanks for your comments everyone. Paul, I'm not sure if there is any significance with the silver ring. Nothing stated in my bird books other than they live to remarkable ages. One was caught tens years after banding. I guess that means a lot of birds don't live to that age.
