A few weeks ago I was reading my Communication Theory textbook, and I put my glasses down for a minute, and an idea came to mind. I ran upstairs to grab my camera, and I produced this image. In CS2 I converted the image to b&w, adjusted the levels and contrast and played the shadow/highlight tool. DOF was not touched in my post-process.

20D w/ Sigma 18-50 2.8 (which I have since sold)

A well executed concept here. You saw something and went for it. Very nice conversion, composition and dof. The clear type throught the lens is just perfect. I can't imagine this photo being anything other than b/w. Nice job!

I don't have anything against Nikon cameras, just the people who use them.

Excellent idea. :)

Perhaps you could blur the text under and beside the glasses lens that is within the DOF to increase the impact of the text through said lens being focused. (did that make sense?)

Thanks KYBOB and Athena.

Athena - Yes, I definitely see what you're talking about. Honestly, I don't know why I didn't pick up on that earlier. I appreciate the suggestion.

Cool shot... it could be worthy of selling as a stock photo, don't you think?
