Took a hike over the weekend up to a place that has two 6 inch naval guns. It is overgrown which is a pity given it's historical significance. The other gun emplacement was filled with water. I believe this is at a place called Blunts point.

I do think it may be more interesting at night and may try on a clear night when the stars are out and I can get a long exposure.

Nice shot. I like the fact that the emplacement is overgrown and the gun rusting. It emphasises how long it has benn since it was needed. If only all guns were in this state

I rather think your framing is overpowering the shot slightly as well.
