All Sigma DC, Tokina DX, and Tamron Di-II lenses will work very well on the 10D/D30/D60 bodies too; EF-S will not.
As for Rockwell, I wouldn't put too much stock in his review, and neither is his conclusion accurate.

His conclusion is contrary to a lot of other reviews. I own the 10-20 and have been EXTREMELY happy with it since day one. Build is great, tank-like, FTM/HSM is wonderful-buttery smooth. Sharp!
