Hi Ashley;
Sorry - they don't do anything for me...
I guess I'm just not adventurous enought...
Cheers;

I like the style you are using,,,grainy and haunting but maybe the need a more centeral subject to draw your attention...

Hi Ashley;

Well, since you ask;

#1 I think needs a longer exposure so that the door mirror is fully focussed, while the whole BG (including the mirror-image) is a total speed-blur with no discernable pattern to it. I would also crop tighter on the mirror to cut out the burnt out sky. I don't think the back-lighting helps in this scenario...

#2 Lacks a focal point. IMHO these work better with a slow shutter-speed pan of a fast moving object, so the viewer has something to work on. In this case, all I see is a blurred pic of a boring BG!

#3 I'm not sure what image you're trying to portray here. The PS just does nothing for me. If you're looking to show industrial dereliction, then I think the image would work better in B&W...

#4 The large bulk of the silhouettes take away so much detail that I don't know what I'm looking at! In this case I feel this would have worked better with a wider lens...

Anyhow, at the end of the day, if the images work for you, that's all that matters... Hope you don't find my comments offensive; they're certainly not intended to be...

Cheers;
Lee
