Yes it is not just the photo I used photoshop

And it is was so sunny out there but since I never got paid or anything and we only took like 10 photos I figure they turned out pretty well!

The second is a good pic, so is the first really. just needs PS work. I think Sterling nailed it for you.

Throw away #2- better yet re-shoot. We have all had bad experiences and most couples are really cool about reshooting. Take a little more time and relax- think it thru on your 2nd chance. You have all the right idea's just need to get them on that darn little memory card correctly

The 1st problem was the time of day you created the images. Next time, do sessions right after dawn or just before dusk. If you can't, then don't just settle on the 1st background you find. Walk around and find the best possible. Also, "look for the light". And if you find a good spot with a small patch of light you don't want ... use subtractive lighting. Use a black reflector or gobo to block the light. If you don't have anyone to hold it ... attach it to a light stand.

The first image has the patches of light that should have forced you to try at another time of day or to move. The 2nd is so grossly overexposed as to be almost impossible to get a good image from it. Did you work it in Raw ? I hope you don't create using .jpg. Raw is critical to good images.
