This small waterfall on Grandfather Mountain, North Carolina has no name, as far as I can tell. still, I thought it was very pretty.

Stan, your photo doesn't show for me like that, and looking at the page source, it is because you've linked to a web page rather than the jpg image (which actually looks very colourful).

Edit: You have fixed the post by the time I posted my reply. :)

Small but it looks quite nice, especially with all these fall colours around it.
A bit too centered though...

By taking this shot Stan, and sharing with us, you have given the right to this lovely waterfall be named. Any good suggestions?

Parker Falls has a nice ring to it, too. :-D

I'm getting the impression that NC has a lot of picturesque waterfalls. It must be beautiful around this time of the year there. Thanks for sharing, Stan.

You really have a knack for waterfalls Stan. I could take a lesson or two from you! I just have to find some. I like the look of small falls the best.
I think Parker Falls sounds good!

Love it! Those colors are terrific. And you got just the right amount of blur on the water.

Thanks for all the comments on this one.

John, my fingers don't always go where I want.

Dimitri, I'm sure you are right, but I took several variations and liked this one best.

twofer, it would be nice to see the stream, but there was no place to stand for that view.

Jim, NC has so many waterfalls, you would never find them all. There are a few web sites to help people locate them. When we left NC last Saturday, the colors were still getting better. It will be peaking soon.

Carol, you've done some good waterfall shots, too. There are some nice ones in your area, like Niagara. Also some small ones.

Thanks to all who want to name it after me. Seems appropriate, since it's on Grandfather Mountain.
