Polarizer of ND For Yosemite in October

Hey guys, quick queston. I am heading out about 10 min to pick up a ND or a polarizer for my 17-40. What do you guys suggest for yosemite?

Definately a CP for any landscape shots.

I can't go anywhere without mine.

Buy the best circular polarizer you can afford. The good thing is that a 77 mm CP will fit a lot of nice lenses, and you will use it a lot. The bad thing is they are expensive.

The ND will be less useful.

Polarizer for sure, but dont forget to pick up a grad nuetural density 2 stop minimum for that bright sky.

As Dante said, get both but if you have a choice of only one then get the Polarizer. I've played around stacking both and got some pretty good (to me at least) results.
Edit: by the way, you're going to love Yosemite in the Fall.

Polariser will cut 2 stops of light any way, so go with the CPL. If you really need an ND buy a resin one and blue- tack it to the front of the polariser :)
