Nice work...my only critique would be that I think she's blocking his face too much in the first pic.

They pretty much look good in terms of composition, I'd increase the tonality of the b/w shots with a touch more contrast and make them duotone for a bit more texture/warmth to the shots.

I really like #4, that one is the best IMO.

6 is my favorite. it's a great photo. 2 is nice as well. I like 4 but try lowering the sepia levels alittle. it may just be me though, but i think it would help.

some of them look slightly over-sharpened, but it actually works well.

I really like this shot, but the sepiatone was alittle too overpowering IMO.

I lowered the saturation by around 70%, made a 6% increase in the shadows, slightly raised the black level in the levels to compensate, burned the background @ 18% with a soft edge around the faces, and selectively burned and dodged areas on the subjects @ 15%.

I'm new here so I hope it's ok to make a suggestion like this.

Wow, thirteen responses in such a short time. Thanks for the complements guys.

I didn't want to up the contrast on the B&W shots too much more Tee Why as I didn't want to lose the softness of the light. But a light duotone might be worth playing with.

Hart, with number 4 I was intentionally going for a strong colour cast to try and add an element of warmth to the shot. Yours does give a more traditional sepia tone, but seems to lose some texture. But would probably look good with a bit more contrast. Though I like the darker background, as it seperates the subjects out better.

You can definitely see some oversharpening artifacts in high contrast areas justisnmnz, though some of these where like this straight out of the camera, even in RAW. But they blend a lot better on the prints.

Thanks all for the comments and glad that you enjoyed. :)
