I'm new at this, including the PP work with PS Elements, but I could use some suggestions on which of these to keep and why.

Or this:

That is the moon rising in the background, and it was fairly low light.

I prefer the second photo, but it really depends on what you're after. To me, the first is more snapshot-style, with the house and powerlines somewhat distracting in the overall image. I like the moon in the background in both shots, cool idea.

I like the 2nd one , I think the first one could have been improved by cropping it.

Second photo is more impactive IMHO. I find that the first photo has different points of interest to the extent I'm lost as to what it is trying to achieve.

Why would you get rid of either one?

I like #1 the best, cause who do you know that has an airplane in the front yard? :D

The 1st doesn't look sharp & I like the 2nd best, but don't see any reason to delete either. I have a lot of "missed" shots on my HD that should be deleted, but they're still there?

I agree with the above, no harm in keeping both on the computer! You never know when you might change your mind about which one you prefer.

i like the #1 better to look at, the thougt behind it, either more sharpness on the house, or a little more unfocus on the house, but the #2 photo is better in the technically way of the photos :)

save both of them, u never know when to have them up for use :)

The second is my preference but I certainly dont think the first is worthy of the trash bin. They are very different shots and you should save them both.

I think the first has lots of potential... I think if it was just composed slightly different, it would be very interesting.

Thanks for the comments. I guess "delete" was the wrong word, as I agree there's no need to not save it somewhere. I was thinking more in the lines of which one not to use on a web page as I think using both of them is overdoing it.
