My boyfriend posted a few photos a day ago and he has much more experience in non portrait photopraphy than I do. So I kinda feel dumb posting similar photos as he did and his being like ten times better than mine. ;)

But that is the only way to learn I suppose. Here is what I got from my "wonderful" train trip I took. When I stuck me head out of the window to get pictures of the side of the train, I was hit in the face and eyes and everything else with sinders. It was loads of fun. My boyfriend and my daughter got really sick on this trip too. :( I had fun, but I think it was a trip I could of done without. Oh well, here are the pics.

Please tell me what you think. Thank you for all your imput!

That is a pretty good start for a non-train person...#4 is very nice. We probably shouldn't pick on Brad and tell him how much better your shots are than his...but what the heck....he can always say he was sick.

I think #1 is a great picture. I've taken pictures of locomotives and they all looked terrible next to this. It's hard to shoot big iron for some reason. :)

Well, I think you give the boy a run for his money!
I would love to be a fly-on-the-wall when the results of this poll are discussed!

Thank you everyone. Actually Brad did get a lot of really good shots that I know he did not post. The shots that I think are my best ones where taken right away in the morning when the sky was all sorts of colors. Brad did not want to get out his camera then. So you snooze you loose. hehe!
