I feel so blessed, kind of wanted to share.... when my son was born he spent some time in the NICU (Newborn Intensive Care Unit). I'm so grateful for all the kindness of the nurses and doctors--anyway his 6 month mark is coming up. I was looking at my photos of him and wanted to share this. The first one is of dad holding his little hand through his isolette, and the second is my big guy today. Life is fragile and these pictures remind me of what a blessing children are. Hug your loved ones...I'm giving my little miracle a big one tonight.

Those are beautiful shots and hit home for me. My daughter just turned 6 weeks old and she too was in the NICU for a bit. It was a scary time. She had to be airlifted to a different hospital then the one i was at and it was the hardest thing in my life. Those pics are wonderful...and yes it does make you realize that all too often we take life for granted! This is my daughter Kyli 6 weeks ago.
