This shot was taken in Washington DC. I was enjoying a coffee at a cafe with the tables on the outside, this Grackle was eating fries and popcorn around the tables. I think it's a Grackle.
It was very hot this day.

Hello Anthony;
Grackles in America are like starlings in the UK; nobody takes much notice of them...
But when you look, as you've captured here, just like starlings they are full of colour (or color to please our US cousins...)
Nice capture;
Cheers;
Lee

Yes a nice capture picking up the colours. Do these reflect light as pigeons do? If Grackles are like Starlings, we would end up shooting them in Australia. Starlings are big pests and often in plague proportions in spring.
