Hi there,

I though I would post these shots from last weekend, I have spent a few days deciding how to PP them, the lighthouse shot still does not look right to me, perhaps I should have left it black and white. The other I was hoping to achieve something moody and wistfull, of guessing what's over the dunes.

Comments welcome as always good and bad.

Regards Darren

I agree, VERY cool. I actually like the harsh light on the black rocks, too. The selective color works great for this photo (the white REALLY pops!), but I'd still like to see the color version. :-)

I think some fresh footprints in the second shot might have had more of an impact, but nevertheless, it still works with what you are trying to achieve.

Nice work...any more?

I like the lighthouse one very much, but I think the composition would be strengthened if it was slightly less centred in the frame.

I love both these shots. And I'm not a big black and white fan.

Nice shots. I like the colouring of the lighthouse. I was expecting to see the obligitory 12 Apostles, or what's left of them.

I like the lighthouse shot a lot, although I agree with John, perhaps a slight change in composition... :D
