It almost looks like it might form into a funnel cloud. Did you use a filter on that one, Craig? Normally when shooting into the sun I overexpose in order to keep detail in the earth, but here I got the effect by underexposing several stops. I didn't use any filter, because they add to the flare and used f8 I believe to make the sun appear larger and rounder than it does when I use the normal f16 or 22. Craig
