See what I look at is her skin tones. My original post is right on. She is very light skinned. The darker post seem to add weird redness... Bob I like yours much more than Craig's

If your original post is "right on", she must be never out in the sun. Her skin on your post, on my monitor, is just a shade above my white ink jet paper. I'm calibrated for my pro lab and am on a Viewsonic Professional Series Monitor. My images always look great on several Professional Photographer sites. So I will assume you should calibrate your monitor. But I am be wrong ... have only been a full time pro portrait photographer since 1966. So I really suggest strongly that you get calibrated and get your gamma set.

Craig, easy there pro. While I agree the original seems a tad overexposed, there's no need to get mean about it.

I'm not qualified to input on the technical debate but I think your model has the "girl next door" look. To me a good photo is more then the techical aspects. IMHO.
