First of all I know I should go for the Canon 16-35L but at this moment I can't afford a L Glass so myo options are

Tamron SP AF 17-50mm F/2.8 XR Di-II LD Asp IF

or

Sigma 17-35mm F2.8 EX DG ASPHERICAL /HSM

TIA

the Sigma is a 2.8-4 not a constant 2.8 like the tamron
there is also the sigma 18-50 2.8 you could look at

My gear

R7, 7D, Canon RF 14-35 f4L, Canon RF 50 1.8 STM, Tamron 70-200 G2, Canon 100-400LII, Canon EF-RF

Go with the tamron if your going to be using it in low light situations, you will appreciate
the constant 2.8!

I would go with Tamron from what you have listed there. However, like 05Xrunner said, Sigma has the 18-50 2.8 which I ironically just sold. If you threw that into the mix, then I certainly would say go with the Sigma 18-50.

I'd hop on the Tamron bandwagon! Lots of good examples out there!

I just read a thread from someone trying to ship back three Sigma lenses because they were all soft and in need of adjustment. Need I say more?

Yeah. You could say that you also looked at the other posts in which people were completely happy with their lenses. Unless to have selective reading. :D

Lenses go back. Period.

Between the 1750 and 1735, I'd say easily the Tamron. Or there is Sigma's new 1850 "Macro" (1:3) or even the 1770 "Macro" (1:2). Lots of good options here.

Yes every company, including Canon, has lenses go back for reasons. It seems rather ominous about the quantity of them from one company from one user, doesn't it?

No, not really. Especially with 0 history. No sample pics, no body info, nothing.

Hell I sent 5 Canons back once.
