This past Monday my wife and I had a date night. While trying to figure out exactly what we were going to do I suggested that we take some pictures. She agreed! I didn't have much time to scope out any specific locations, but we managed to find a nice little spot in front of the Town Hall in downtown Matthews, a town just outside of Charlotte, NC. We were running low on the "golden hour" but managed to get a few that we like. Here is one that I had time to process so far. I believe this one will have to printed out fairly big.:) Any and all C&C would be very helpful.

What a great way to spend a date night! She looks like she's enjoying herself. Great smile!

Very nice! It looks like her outfit would have gone quite well the background. A little more of it in the frame may have been nice, but it's still great the way it is! She's got a beautiful smile :)

I gotta agree, awesome smile, beautiful wife and great photo.

I too would have liked to have seen a bit more of her shoulders/hair.

Well done.

Yes it is Sam. Right now they are slim pickings, but we still manage every now and then.

She did have a great time, as did I. I hope this is the first of many.

Thank you. Her oufit did match fairly well. I have some shots that show more of her and her outfit but this was one of the best so I started there first. Hopefully I will get to PP some more images tonight and show some more shots.

Thanks. See the above comment for more shoulder/hair.

She will love to hear that you love her smile.

How big do you really want her face? :) I would add more contrast - that shots seems a little low in it. That type of shot typically should show the person from at least the shoulders up. Having just her head in the shot seems a bit strange.

Haha. Well I printed it in a 10x8 and am going to put it on my desk at work. I guess since I love her so much I don't mind looking at her face really big.;) I took some other shots and just got done PPing this one here. What do you think? I am not sure eactly how I want to crop it so this is the full image.
