... might easily be nice for shooting. These were taken late September on Lestijoki river mid Finland. Day was not that great but I got some nice shots.

They both are hdr ... but seems to be so that the transition from the trees to the gray sky is not too disturbing as normally, I guess that is because of the murkiness of the sky.

I prefer the second shot better with the leaves on the water, but both photos seem to have a greyish filter over them.

Cheers John, I think there are at least three reasons for this greyish cast: hdr, the weather and my intention to keep that somehow less striking atmoshpere in these pics. ;)

I like them Olli! They definately remind me of blustery fall days.

Both great shots, but I love No.2 Olli - nice colours & foreground interest and I like the reflections from the trees.

Could one reason for that be that I did not sharpen background at all, only the lower part (water) of the picture ...

very well done for HDR. The first one looks great, and the secondone could use some twaeking to the trees. Maybe some contrast adjustment so it looks as good as the reflection.

Both have nice colours Olli, I like the depth in the second one.

Paul and Anthony, thanks for feedback. Good point to work with the bg contrast. I'll check what I can do.
