Leafy View - Rydal Water

A shot taken at Rydal Water in the Lake District, Spring of this year. The leaves were still young and fresh and allowed enough light to expose for the reflection too. The sky was a little bland so I ran a blue grad filter over it in PS...just before anyone asks or spots it!

Thanks Trevor for you comment - yes you do detect a tad of nostalgia! I could handle Spring and Summer the year through - all those dark nights and bare trees throughout the day.

The reflection is good but I love the way you've used the window in the branches to frame Heron Island and the slopes of Silver How behind.

Beautifully exposed and framed David, love the reflection.

Thanks Cameron, It's good knowing someone like you who knows the Lakes better than me - I did look at a map but couldn't define the hills and it didn't have anything about Heron Island either!
