A shot taken at Rydal Water in the Lake District, Spring of this year. The leaves were still young and fresh and allowed enough light to expose for the reflection too. The sky was a little bland so I ran a blue grad filter over it in PS...just before anyone asks or spots it!;)

Do I detect a touch of nostalgia? Missing the warmer weather already?
Its a lovely spring time image, David and I like the framing of the distant hills very much :D

Thanks Trevor for you comment - yes you do detect a tad of nostalgia! I could handle Spring and Summer the year through - all those dark nights and bare trees throughout the day.

Works really well, David.
The reflection is good but I love the way you've used the window in the branches to frame Heron Island and the slopes of Silver How behind.

Thanks Cameron, It's good knowing someone like you who knows the Lakes better than me - I did look at a map but couldn't define the hills and it didn't have anything about Heron Island either!:(
