Hi All, had yesterday afternoon off so I went for a drive to the coast. This is my first real landscape/pano/stitch attempt, so please let me know what you think!

This is a stitch of 5 photos using my 10-22 lens, not sure of the other details, I was being lazy and had my camera on autopilot mode :o

Thanks for looking!

surprised for being on auto the pano came out so damn well! I know if I change ISO or shutter anything, my pan is ruined. You did excellent for this, what beautiful clear sky, seem like a peaceful place!

Great shot. I love the blue sky and your stitch looks flawless to my eyes. :grin;

Your panorama stitching looks very good, and especially as you took the shot on auto settings, and with a wide focal length that can cause stitching issues.

Thanks Adam, you sure you're not thinking of Nimbin? That's not too far away.

Thanks Andy, it was sooo windy that afternoon and I was parked on the road side and was a bit scared of cars zooming by so I jumped out, set the camera to auto (lately I've been really good and been using full manual mode) and quickly took a series of shots across the country side. And it's very peaceful on a non-windy day.

Cheers! I was pretty happy with the sky, could have done with a few clouds but hey...beggers can't be choosers. Everytime latley I have some time off it's rainy or just crappy weather in general, so i was happy to get some sun.

When I blow it up to 100% there's one very faint stitch mark that I'll have to do something about, then I think it will be nearly flawless :lol:

Thanks, good memories I hope!

I've grown up in this area and there's so many places around here that hold greatmemories for me, and watching Byron town develop through the years has been amazing.

Technically excellent, it's not easy getting everything to fit. However, as a composition it's lacking, I would have liked a stronger anchor for the image, I find my eyes wandering looking for a point of reference.
I appreciate it was the pano rather than the composition that was important, therefore I'm sure we will see good compositions coming our way.

Concentrate on equipment and you'll take technically good photographs. Concentrate on seeing the light's magic colours and your images will stir the soul. - Jack Dykinga

Thanks Lesmac, appreciate it.

I have the day off tomorrow and weather pending (lately on my day's off the weather has been yuck) there may be some more pano's with better composition ;)
