I never, ever touch my elements on my lenses and will almost emasculate anyone who attempts to. Therefore, I very rarely, if ever, need to clean my lenses.

Does my wife tell me she likes my photographs only so she can go buy expensive Italian shoes she'll wear twice in her life?

You nailed it fella, but your 3 year old shows obvious talent :p Just buy him an old Russian Rangefinder for now so he can at least learn the craft before folks here filling his head with all that 'sharp' rubbish.

That's a frightening insight into the L Posse psyche son ... and it can only have been outlined with such terrifying accuracy by someone who has flirted with them but, ultimately, still managed to claw his way back to the light. Well done. It's encouraging, but it will take time. Stay strong. Buy a Zorki and go shoot some film. It could help.

Well I spotted a 50mm 1.2L for FD on ebay today ... stick it on a cheap but beautiful old FD body with a bit of nice Velvia and the likes of Dante and Ronald will be chewing the table top in frustration waiting for their shiny, upstart and overpriced EOS replacement. Trouble is, one of them has probably overbid on it already such is the inability to defer gratification.

So I'm not supposed to use a pressure washer at high power loaded with monohydrogen dioxide?

And using the acetylene torch to dry the lens must be out too...

All these years and I've never cleaned the lenses correctly : (

I'd say so, Turbo, based on the self portrait quality from your avatar.
