i got hired by an ad agency to take some mock ads for the annual 'culture town' event here in copenhagen. they opened their doors to the public and let them experience (somewhat of) how it's like to create an ad. which meant that they walked in from the street, got styled (makeup only), thought of a quote (this was done for Diesel, so it was their take on Successful Living), have their portrait taken by me, and then sit with a graphic artist who did the photo editing and put in their quote. then they walked home with their own ad, and it got put in the windows of the bureau, and some of them on the net.

here (external link) are the ones that got put online, it's like a fraction of the ones i took.

(sorry that i can't post any of them here, but i can't figure out how to! please check the link.)

never before have i recieved such praise from doing anything, i was very surprised of it and myself. the setup took 10 minutes, which was all the time i had, and i had no time to think about what i did, at any time. it was very stressful but also very fun and learning. to think that all of these people just walked in from the street without ever thinking that they were going to do this today amazes me to no end, and the fact that i was able to get this amount of emotion and spark out of them i can't even understand. some of them were like dead fish, but that was the vast minority.

While composing your posting, "Go Advanced" and look in the "Additional Options" frame. You will see the opportunity to "Manage Attachments". That is the way to host an image on the POTN Server.

Excellent portraits! Congratulations!

Well done Jacob, you deserve to be pleased with your self.

I really like your site also. Quick to load and easy to navigate. This, combined with an array of images that are diverse and well shot, makes it a joy to view.

I like so many of your pictures but for some reason I love this one

Congrats to you

2 EOS 1 mkII Dn's, 24-70 2.8L,70-200 2.8L,14 prime 2.8L,100 macro 2.8, metz, metz, and more metz...plus a whole load of other stuff that really is unimportant. It all about the picture, not the tool.
Had the 1ds for a few weeks then realised was overkill. Bought 5d and the 400mm instead.
