As a matter of fact, we're just heading into peak color.:) It will be great for a few days as long as it doesn't rain.

Now I'm jealous:lol:

Why are you wasting time taking pictures and sitting at your computer? You should be IN that beautiful water, Elizabeth! :D

I need to get myself back down there again... soon! I don't suppose you have any vacancies around Christmas, do you? :)

Another beautiful shot Elisabeth. I guess the Keys is as close as I've come to seeing water like that.

Gorgeous colours EA, and it looks to be a great place for a relaxing holiday. On a photographic point, is there any detail that you could burn into the white wall?

This is another beautiful scene, with a lot to like.

I was thinking of a different perspective, if you had taken the shot slightly to the right, (perhaps from the right of the white wall), and use the white wall edge to appear from the bottom corner (black arrow) instead of 1/3 way up. And the waterline edge (red arrow) from the bottom left corner, instead of 1/3 way in?

Just a thought :)

Well, I've been stuck in a bit of a rut lately, but it is amazing how many different ways you can photograph the same place when you really put your mind to it, eh?;)

Oh yes , i know what you mean...;)

This is a very refreshing pic after many waterfalls. Love the crisp colours.

Thanks Lesmac, I will give that a try next Friday - I'm sure the weather will co-operate!!:D

Thanks everyone for the comments, and JT - I would love to be out there swimming, but sadly the sun and I don't get along too well, as I have lupus, and autoimmune problem that is aggravated by sun exposure. I stay in the shade during the day, sneaking out now and then for a quick photo, plastered in sunscreen and wearing a big floppy hat!

Ugh, I miss the bahamas. Starting to get cold here, frost warnings etc. That is the one thing I miss about living in S. Florida, easy access to the bahamas. I still hate winter and I've been in NC for 20 yrs.

....this IS winter here

Oh, so cruel Elisabeth-Ann!!
I freely admit, every time I see your photos, I'm quite envious of your location! But I can't resist looking every time either.
Nice shot!
