I like that 300f/4 non-IS even better than the 300 f/4 IS....so I'll have both.
Besides, that's mah main FL.

So, you two Frodo's go ahead and seek self-pleasure and self-indulgence in your fast glass, see if I care.

Oh, we know you care.;)

In fact, we know you care so much, you've been shining shoes, taking in laundry, detailing cars, all to save up enough money to buy yourself some fast glass too.

hehehehehe

Do you really need both? I would be glad to borrow one from you :D.

That's patently false ! I might have done those jobs while I had my business, but since I've retired my only source of regular income has been Sat/Sun paper delivery in my neighbourhood.

There has to be one not so precious lens that he doesn't want or need as part of his collection.

I say he dumps all NON L and just goes and collects all L. And I'll be the one who takes the non L. LOL.

*Dreams.* Hehe.

What is that car? It looks like some sportsy italian futuristic car. I realise I'm fromt he new generation, but I have no idea what that is and am curious.

It's a Ford. More accurately, it's modern replica of a Shelby Daytona coupe made for made for racing at Lemans 40+ years ago.

Looks more like the kind of thing some tubby guy makes in his garage from a kit while his too thin and highly strung wife weeps alone over the laundry.

As to JagWire begging for a crumb of a lens ... man, even I am getting embarrassed and that takes a lot. Anyway, I have already been promised the 24-70mm L aka the 'rubber brick' in his will, so get in line kid
