24-70 with 20D=Good combination?

Ed, you're right about the comfort part. I should have reiterated that by being more muscular you will not be more comfortable, just that you can endure it a lot better when needed. As far as comfort goes, I only know of better neck straps and perhaps full body straps. Any good ideas on how to comfortably handle a heavy setup while remaining mobile?

I usually use the 35, so you can see what my favorite length is for walkaround:) I do love being able to go wider though! I find with the 24-70 I use it at 24 more than any other length. Especially at theme parks where everyone stays so close together. I don't think I took one picture over 50mm with it at Legoland or Disneyland which are the only two places I have really taken it so far:)
