Jerome, AZ is full of odd and unique architecture. Here's one my more favorite houses. It almost looks like a model.

Those are some very different trees growing beside the house. It does look like one of those miniature houses they use as scenery on model train sets.

The trees are italian cypress.

If you look in this pic, you can see the house, right-hand side, midway down.

That looks like quite an eccentric place, and I cringe to think what the tree roots are doing to the building's foundations.

There is no good way to describe Jerome, AZ. It is built, primarily, right on the side of a mountain, several thousand feet above the valley floor. That house, and the mansion above it are built on a ridge, about a thousand feet up. Jerome was established as a copper mining town in 1876 and has endless possibilities for photography. It's a tourist destination these days. I didn't get much time to shoot pictures, since I was there for a meeting, and it was overcast that day. I'll be going back soon just for photographic purposes.

Oh, and knowing construction techniques in Jerome, I wouldn't bet that the house has a foundation.
