PowerShot A/S series for infra-red

Has anyone tried infra-red photography (using R72 filter) with the following:

PowerShot A620
PowerShot A630
PowerShot A700
PowerShot A710IS

PowerShot S3IS

If you have, could you please comment on their performance? Any hotspots? Thanks.

My reason for asking is because I want to try infra-red but I don't have a suitable camera yet, and these cameras allow filter attachment.

Anyone? Nobody knows?

I have an IR filter(r72) for my powershot a-620.It works great.

I have used R72 with A710is, it works very well, decent shutter speeds and even possible to record movie with filter on a sunny day. Will also try IR with a720is soon.

I also tried with S3 IS, but it was not as good as 710, it was much longer exposure times and low contrast.

None of these had any hotspot as far as i could see.

Have anyone tried with A720 IS ?
