Nice shot. The green tree on the right is out of place and the ground right in front of the camera is fair. Another way to approach this should would to have been get right at the water's edge, close to the water where the leaves in the water might have been your foreground and that would have removed that unwanted tree.

Great tree colours, and I also like the reflection and dark blue of the water too.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I will admit, I didn't take the time with this photograph that I probably should have. I had pulled over to the side of the highway and stumbled down a small hill to take the shot because the colors caught my eye.

Dimitri, I used my Sigma 28-80 @ 28mm, f/16, 1/20sec. The wind was blowing pretty hard, but I since I was in a hurry, I was probably not as steady as I needed to be.

1/20 second would probably get some motion blur if it was windy.

f/16 is overkill ... you start to get diffraction in most lenses at f/16. f/8 or f/11 would have been more than enough, which would have bought you some more shutter speed.

But a beautiful capture anyway!! Love the colours and composition. I kinda like the tree in the foreground -- thought it might have been nice without it too. Only critique is that it feels chopped off at the top ... I'd like to see a little sky in the top-right. Hard tho at 28mm.

Nice colours, it looks like confetti in the foreground!
