Blue Sunset in Burlington, VT

this photo was taken last night. i loved the sunset but there were too many trees around me. so this was the only direction to shoot in so i had to include some trees in the photo.

do you like the photo with the trees or do you think without would have been better if i had been able to do so.

The trees add some foreground interest, but I think that a tighter crop to remove the partial trees (especially the one on the right) might help the composition. Have you also added a deliberate bit od darkening to the bottom of the photo as the water line quickly goes to black and looks a bit strange as a consequence?

ok heres the crop and I lower the shadows in photoshop so it isnt as dark near the bottom of the photograph

what do you think now?

That looks better Brodie. As your title was for a blue sunset. I adjusted the levels slightly - what do you think?
