A selection of images from the last couple of years taken on and around the hills above my home town (Otley)

The title of the thread refers to that inane ditty that Yorkshiremen (and lasses) love to sing, usually after 27 pints of Tetley Bitter :)

Very colourful Les, and it even looks like the water at the bottom is joining in with a purple hue too. :)

Ooh I didn't realise that you were going to post a series of shots. All very nice, although the graffiti one is my favourite, and I presume that the snowy one wasn't taken that recently.

Les you have some fantastic shots in this series. My favourite is the couple standing on the rocks looking out, The sky is fantastic :)

Hi Jon, no, as I mentioned in the introduction, these were taken over the last couple of years :)

They all look vrey pretty images to me but as far as i`m concearned, the one with the snow is the clear winner..
Saying that,i cann`t discard the one with the guy in the suitcase (is he waiting for the train? ),or the one with the dog...:D ,i hope he is coming with us this weekend.

It seems that you have plenty of photo apportunities around your place Les , woods/hills/water/ (dogs ;) ),what more would you need?

All great photos, but the first one is by far my favorite. I love the deap purple of the flowers and the flow of the cascading water. What can I say, I'm a sucker for great lanscape photos! :)
