The 70-200 2.8L IS is in the near future. I am selling my car and buying a cheaper one to get this lens, yes I have a problem.

Still unsure if the 17-40 is needed since I have 10-22 and I will have the 24-105 (or 24-70 if I change my mind for the 34th time). I do take many landscape pictures and have a feeling I would use the 17-40 often (and it would be nice not to have to change lenses near the 20-24 range). 2. If I don't get the 17-40, I would have room in the budget to get the 70-200 2.8 (non IS) instead. However, I am unsure of these as I don't use my 75-300 IS often as it is. 3. Still want to have a good low light / portrait lens in my bad (other than my nifty fifty). 85 1.8? or 24-70 instead of the 24-105? I think I would prefer the extended range of the 24-105 over the 2.8 in that focal range. Or really start over and get the 70-200 2.8 IS and a Tamron 17-50 (can't decide how important the 50-70 focal range is for me... I think I will go outside and see)... I waited a long time for the 15th to get here- please help me rationalize my purchase Bryan Here's to rationalizing your mind: Great shots are like great parking spaces... if you're not quick, it's gone!

It means I can get a lens cheaper than my local Henry's, from the U.S. but I can't get that extra incentive to sweeten the deal. JVL

I dread having things shipped via UPS/fed-ex/etc because of customs/brokerage... USPS is alright though edit: on the 10-22mm, you can save 140$ roughly....minus any brokerage when you receive...not too bad I guess. I haven't purchased anything from B&H yet (I'm saving for the 70-200mm f/2.8 IS) but a friend of mine bought this very lens and it showed up fine and, given the difference, saved several hundreds of dollars. Even now with the exchange being good our way, I'd save hundreds, UPS brokerage doesn't touch that JVL
