My rebate dreams are just that........dreams. Too many other things that I have to buy. The washing machine is about to go out and the hot water heater is probably not far behind. I am just thankful that the 1.4x TC I bought 2 weeks is not on the rebate list. I would have been pissed.

Sorry, I can't get my head round this. I can't see any mention of double rebates anywhere on the UK promotions page... The promotions listed on the site appear to be the same ones as usual. Am I missing something? There're a few things I'm looking to buy, I'd like to take advantage of this if possible...

Canon Extra Promotion

Cheers for the info, but I still seem to be missing something fairly basic. I can see that the rebates are there, but I see no mention of double rebates... these seem to be the same ones that have been running for some time. I'm feeling pretty stupid right now, someone please cure my ignorance!

Sorry. you are correct, there is no 2x rebate.

My dream (actually, more of a pondering than a dream... don't really dream about lenses and cameras... ) became reality today too...

damn...such a baller...

I don't think I will be making any more large purchases until next years rebate...and then I will be jumping on a wide lens 10-22 or a walk around.

5D huh? NICE. Thats why I didn't get the 17-55 2.8 IS (well, aside from not having any rebate), I plan to upgrade someday (years from now..) and figured I will keep investing in non EF-S lenses.....
