I am looking at getting a Pelican hard case for my 30D. I want one that will be big enough to hold my 30D with a 70-200 with the hood attached. I would like to have a case large enough to hold these as one unit, but cost is going to play a part in the decision. Could anyone give me the length of these items attached together. It would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Can't you simply measure yours?

I don't have the 70-200 yet, thus I do not have the lens/hood combo to put on my camera to measure. I will be purchasing the Lens online from B&H. I was just trying to get some figures so that I can start looking for the appropriate hard case to fit it.
