Is there any type of bag for primes only? something that like a shoulder bag that I could easily change lenses fast with.

Kata doa nice range of bags and one is like a holster and one is like a shoulder bag... I have the R103 rucksack which is built well and really rugged.....

Hmm... is there a difference between primes and zooms in this regard?

I do not believe they make lens specific shoulder bags for more than one lens. I like my Domke bag. Nice and rugged, easy to get into. MInimal padding so it's not at all bulky.

Maybe the bag for primes has room for five lenses while the zoom bag only holds two.

The Lowe-Pro Nova series of bags is easily configured to hold multiple small lenses rather than 1 or 2 large lenses. For ease of working though, nothing beats a Domke.

You could look at the lowpro slingshot 100 or 200. Strap goes across the oposite sholder, you carry it on your back and swing to the front to change lenses. The bag makes a stable platform to rest lenses on for a change.

Might want to try one of the smaller LowPro Stealth Reporter bags. You can configure to hold your lenses and can reach in through the top cover access point to get lenses without having to completely unzip the bag and open the top.

That sounds nice. If I can find a nice bag I am thinking about going on a prime buying spree.

Almost any bag will work equally well for both... Just rearrange the velcro dividers as needed. With primes at least, you could get a smaller bag than you'd need for zooms.

Check out the Crumpler ____ Million Dollar Home line, the LowePro Stealth Reporter ____ series and some of the Kata bags. Small, shoulder/messenger type bags abound. I'm a recent fan of Crumpler, having picked up a $6M Home for walking around.
