taken a few days ago when i headed up there with my mate. thought i'd try out some panoramics with my 350D and sigma 17-70. think it came out quite good. used a program called autopano pro which is the best photostitch software ive ever used. 10shots taken vertically then stitched. what do you's think?

Very nice pano, I love the colors and lighting, and it really has a soft diffused/glow look that I like. The program did an excellent stitch job. My only critique would be a little less sky and a bit more foreground for the next try.

This is stunning work John! I like the sky a lot, but would also like to see that stone in the foreground. :) (S17-70 is a great all-aroud lens.)

Nicely stitched John, and I bet this little image doesn't do justice to the full-sized version.

thanks guys. one thing that bothered me was that stone in the right hand corner. had to crop most of it out after the stitching. it was in the original shot.
thanks

no it bothered me as in i couldn't keep the whole rock in. the stitching had to be cropped right there so it was impossible to keep the whole rock in.
though im still pretty pleased with the result
