Well, I couldn't decide if these fit in here or in urban so here is where they ended up.

My wife and I (plus our dog) decided to take a drive up around where Reigh hangs out to see some of the annual pumpkin festivities in our area of the world. We missed the pumpkin boat races (get a bigggg pumpkin, hollow it out, get in and paddle like H*** across a lake.) First one across wins. Great costumes, painted up pumpkins and lots of hilarity.

Continued on to a little place where we managed to run into this parade.

Of course a parade must have a King and Queen:

and the King and Queen must have a Court Jester (although I think that he or she is more of a clown)

These characters are also annual happenings (the pumpkin people) and this is the first year that my wife and I have managed to make it up to have a look at them. Lived here close on 35 years and first time!!!

These are great attractions in the area (small town Nova Scotia) and the kids think that they are great. I have some more so if people want to see them, let me know and I can put them up.

Our leaves have almost gone due to the last wind storm on thursday last week but there are still some individual trees that are quite spectacular. Had a great day out, back to work tomorrow. :( :(

Thanks for looking, comments welcome.
